Mountain view was exceptional and the location was stunning, next to the restaurant as well as Block steakhouse and the Italian pizza takeaway.

Superior family queen room with terrace, hairdryer and balcony was ready when we checked-in. There was a wide array of food for breakfast, it was savoury. Had ideal location to what we had paid in other hotels across the district.
Unfortunately Wi-Fi was bad.

Tom
The view of mountain was superb, as well as central location near to beautiful fields with horses as well as the Lakes and Cockermouth.
-
Cyril
Breakfast with the tastiest Cumberland sausage. Secluded location, great base for discovering Cockermouth. So close to Cockermouth which is well placed for decent walking and is good for food and pubs and different sites in the Lake District.
-
Steve
Lovely and magnificent location in the pretty area, near to plenty of places to walk, the restaurant on the first evening and a magnificent hill.

Stunning and marvellous location right by beautiful fields with horses, nearby lakes and the Lake District, well presented food. Also, in the garden where the team brought drinks to us with a smile. Modern and normal double rooms, courteous staff from reception to other service.

Delightful traditional property with very good staff on service and customer satisfaction. Amazing secluded location, just next door to nature and the Cockermouth, beautiful lakes and whinlatter forest where kids had lot of fun.
Very dated bathroom.
